It was 1964 when Carmen Vidal, a fighting, energetic and vital woman, brought to life her great creation: Germaine de Capuccini. The beauty secrets learned in Algiers during her childhood and the skincare techniques acquired in Paris were to become the hallmark of one of the most important professional skincare companies in the world.
The Dermabel salon opens its doors in Alcoy (Alicante). Germaine de Capuccini is born.
The first factory is opened with ample laboratories, specific areas for manufacturing and packaging, offices and warehouse.
The company is constituted as Germaine de Capuccini, S.A.
Distribution of products begins in Venezuela.

The International Department is born in Barcelona.
Distribution begins in Portugal, United States and Canada.

Germaine de Capuccini is consolidated as an international company. Its publications are translated into up to 23 languages.
After two years of expansion work, bigger work places are created that allow the company to adapt to the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Isolated packaging rooms are built right under the new manufacturing room, as well as computerised and automated warehouses.
This year, Germaine de Capuccini's products reach 60 countries.
The Council of Ministers decides to award Mrs Carmen Vidal Ballester with the Gold Medal for Work Merit in recognition of her entrepreneurial and working career.
Germaine de Capuccini becomes the first Spanish skincare company to obtain the triple certification of Quality, Environment and Workplace Safety. An innovative Integrated Management System is developed.
Mrs Carmen Vidal, founder of Germaine de Capuccini, passes away, and her son, Mr Jesús Vidal Vidal occupies her position, thus taking place the change of generation in the company.
Germaine de Capuccini constitutes, together with three other Spanish firms (Sorisa, Thuya and Videocinco), "World Beauty España", a consortium in the skincare sector in China.
Germaine de Capuccini obtains the Family Responsible Employer certification, awarded by the "Fundación+Familia" (Foundation+Family) thanks to the promotion of measures in favour of conciliating family and work life.
Germaine de Capuccini is certified as the first company committed to compensating and reducing the CO2 emissions included in the CO2zero project.
