The international model is pure beauty made in Spain. She combines her career as a model with acting, sports and her passion: music.
The multitalented model is an optimist, fighter, dreamer, authentic and sure of herself; she has the attitude.
With a degree in Podiatry and a model as a vocation… when did you know you wanted to “live off of your image”?
Truly I never knew it. In fact in the beginning I found it hard to feel comfortable. It simply came about. I saw in front of me the possibility of travelling and becoming independent at the age of 21. The opportunity to live new experiences seduced me. Something called me to try it. And I had nothing to lose.
Photo sessions, events, adverts, social networks… your life is a constant showcase, it requires being in good physical shape and an instant “good face”. How is a day in the life of Beatriz?
It is true that it is a constant showcase, and I assure you that not every day I have a “good face” (laughter). With the passing of the years I have come to know myself better and I know how I react. For example, depending on what I eat or how I sleep I get up better or worse. Sometimes I retain liquids and my eyes swell; the continuous flights also don’t help. If I’m not working I tie my hair in a bun and relax. But for the sessions I always use masks to sleep, anti-fatigue or flash-effect and patches to disguise the puffiness and dark circles.
You like nutrition and sports. Is that your secret for showing off a “perfect silhouette”?
Yes, without a doubt. Nutrition and sports are my secrets. Physically and mentally.
Do you like routine?
The life I lead is the opposite of what could be considered as “routine”. And I like it. I like change. I like to do and learn new things. But travelling so much for work is not so much fun. Sometimes I feel a big lack of control and I feel it on my face and body. No extreme is good. When I’m at home I try to maintain the same routine of diet, exercise, getting up and sleeping.
Which is your beauty routine?
I always wash my face morning and night. I apply my creams. And once every two months I go for an in-booth facial treatment. It is extremely important to pamper our skin; it doesn’t always have the same needs.
You travel a lot for work and the flying hours come at a price: dark circles, bags under the eyes, fine wrinkles… What products are always in your hand luggage?
Night Success is my sleeping mask to wake up with a good face; Timexpert SRNS EYES Detox to revitalise my contour immediately; Sleeping Cure to have a good face when I don’t sleep enough or to get ready for a photo session or event… I assure you they are always in my suitcase (laughter).
You are a successful instagrammer, “Quick, you have to upload a story! Smile and…” What product do you choose to look pretty instantly?
A good light (Ha, Ha, Ha). Really I don’t have anything ready for the “instant”.
Social networks, In favour or against?
Good question. In favour and against. This subject worries me. I believe social networks are a two-sided weapon. You have to know how to use them. They give us incredible job opportunities, also of communication and information. But they can become obsessive and cause a lot of harm. Sometimes I feel like we live in a bubble of appearances and false “reality”. My work depends on it and I feel part of it. I’m learning how to handle it and I try to show both sides of my life, that everything doesn’t seem always “perfect”. I sincerely believe that we are still not prepared for all these technological advances.
You have travelled around the world. Which is your favourite city?
In my case each city has had and has its moment. I think I would choose New York for everything that city represents for me. There’s always something going on there, there’s always something new. And I love that. I’m looking forward to going back! To disconnect and for holidays I like Ibiza. To recover and recharge energy with doses of love, Jerez, my homeland (laughter).
In my bag there is always…
Earphones, mobile, wallet, keys, hair band, lip balm and various wrinkled tickets. I’m a bit messy.
Which is your favourite in-booth treatment?
I normally follow the advice of the professionals. I love facial massages for giving luminosity and revitalise like the Vitamin C one. With so much travelling my skin dehydrates a lot.
Your perfect plan?
Getting together with my friends and live music.
Beach or mountain?
Your favourite colour?
Aquamarine and red.
Define yourself with one word.
