In beauty the order of the factors does alter the product. We know that the most important step for preparing the skin is cleansing. But once we have freed the skin from imperfections, makeup and pollution, do you know which is the next step? What goes first: the serum or the cream? And the eye contour?
In this post we solve some doubts to make the most of your products.
THE ORDER OF THE FACTORS:
Step 1: Pre-Serum
After cleansing it is the first gesture in our daily beauty ritual. 1st Essence is a concentrate of ingredients with a light texture that when spread on the skin rapidly penetrates leaving a halo of unique freshness that awakens and relaxes the skin.
It works like a multiplier of the effects of the products applied later. It acts on the more external layers of the skin, strengthening the immune defences of the skin and transforming it into an invisible protective barrier, preventing the toxins and harmful pollution particles from penetrating it.
Also, it is excellent for all skin types and ages: perfect for mature skin that recover their suppleness, uniform tone and more youthful appearance, and for youthful skin to prevent possible aggressions on the skin and premature ageing.
Step 2: Serum or Booster
An essential in beauty from the age of 30 onwards. It is a more powerful cosmetic concentrate with a light texture and easy absorption and specific actions. A small amount is enough to benefit from all its power. It is applied day and/or night, depending on the needs.
There are several types of serum: with lifting effect, anti-ageing, anti-wrinkles, hydrating, for providing luminosity, etc.
Some serums or boosters are applied after the treatment cream, like Refinition from Timexpert Rides with high definition correcting technology.
Step 3: Eye contour
After the serum always apply the eye contour day and night. The area of the lower and upper eyelids is one of the most sensitive ones of the face. The skin is finer and is subjected to a frenetic activity: blinking, expressions, winks… a constant “exercise” that is joined by other aggressions: lack of sleep, bad habits, UV radiation, pollution, etc. This is why it is recommendable to take care of it specifically from the age of 25 years onwards.
Apply the eye contour with small touches from the inner part of the eye outwards.
You have to choose the eye contour that best suits your needs.
Step 4: Treatment
It is essential to apply next the treatment cream or emulsion that seals all the previous steps. Choose a product suitable for the age and needs of your skin.
Beauty tip: Facial oil
There are beauty elixirs that are generally presented as oils, ideal for providing extra nourishment. They are applied before the treatment cream or mixed with it.
